As tension requirements vary, we do not pre-tension the gate before despatch. Complete instructions for tensioning are documented in Installation Procedure IP31 for ERG1200-PA and IP32 for PRG1500-PA.
Please note: The customer must adjust gate speed/tension before first use.
We recommend that the customer check the operation of the gate at least every six months (more regularly in extreme environments or in frequent use). It is natural for the spring assistance unit to lose tension over time. The gate may require some adjustments.
